London side Tottenham Hotspurs have eliminated Manchester United for a place in the Carabao cup semi finals.

United lost 4-3 to Spurs at the London Stadium to bow out of the championship they won in 2022.

United defeated Leicester City at Wembley in the 2022 final to be crowned Champions under then coach Erik Ten Hag.

Forward Dominick Solanke opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Kulusevski and Solanke again put Spurs 3-0 in front.

The United boss who made several changes to the side that defeated Manchester City made use of his bench and brought the game to 3-2 through Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo.

Skipper Son extended Spurs lead by scoring from the corner before Jonny Evans scored his first goal since his return to the club to make it 4-3.
