The Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital (FNPH), Budo-Egba, has successfully acquired a state-of-the-art SonoScape S22 Ultrasound Machine, thanks to the efforts of the immediate past Kwara Central Senator, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe.

This acquisition represents a significant advancement in the hospital’s initiative to enhance diagnostic capabilities and improve the quality of patient care.

The SonoScape S22 Ultrasound Machine, delivered today, December 23, 2024, features advanced radiology technology for exceptional imaging clarity, a user-friendly interface with “One-Button Optimization,” and an 18.5-inch high-resolution LED display.

Its compact design includes rotatable screens, four probe sockets, a pencil probe port, and a built-in battery allowing over 2.5 hours of continuous scanning, ensuring mobility, versatility, and efficiency in diagnostics.

Prof. Baba Awoye Issa, the Medical Director of FNPH Budo-Egba, on behalf of the management, expressed his appreciation to the former lawmaker for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people and continued support for the growth of the institution while acknowledging the usefulness of the new gadget facilitated.

He remarked, “This advanced ultrasound machine will substantially enhance our diagnostic capabilities, enabling us to provide improved and more efficient care to our patients, we thank Senator Oloriegbe for this valuable asset.”
