President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to leave Abuja today to participate in the 2025 edition of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2025).
A statement released yesterday by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga confirmed that the President will attend the summit, which is set to take place in the emirate from January 12 to 18.
His attendance is at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates.
The summit aims to convene global leaders to expedite sustainable development and foster socioeconomic advancement. Under the theme “The Nexus of Next; Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” the event will provide a platform for policymakers, business leaders, and representatives from civil society to discuss strategies for accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy, paving the way for a new era of prosperity for all.
