Leeds United Defender was involved in a car crash between a Land Rover Defender and a police vehicle outside Elland Road this morning.
21-year-old Charlie Cresswell was unharmed in the collision which occurred near the West Stand entry gate, in England.
A police officer was involved in the accident and emergency services were immediately called to the scene.
The city police though confirmed that the officer only suffered light injuries in the accident and was okay after a light treatment.
The police said that inquiries are still ongoing on and a spoke person remarked, “At 10.13 am (on Thursday), police were notified of a collision involving a police car and a Land Rover Defender on Elland Road, Leeds.
“An officer received medical treatment for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Cresswell is a player from Leeds academy and has made seven appearances in all competitions this season, with four of them coming off the bench.
He was an unused substitute in Leeds’ 0-0 first leg of the play-off against Norwich on Sunday
Leeds are bidding for an immediate return to the Premier League through the play-offs after they finished the season third in the table behind champions Leicester and Ipswich.
However, He remains available for the Championship club’s second leg semi-final play-off against Norwich City later tonight.
