A renowned magazine, Forbes which has been trusted over the years for its judgement over sensitive information and giving judgement to football clubs and its players especially in its financial aspect has released the list of top 10 most valuable football clubs in the world.
Unsurprisingly, the list is dominated majorly by football clubs in England and Spain has a very relative representation as far as assets are concerned.
Six out of the top ten football clubs valued the most by Forbes are clubs in England while two are from Spain, one from Germany and one from France.
Despite the dominance from the premier league clubs, Spain has produced the football club that is valued the most as Real Madrid which is valued at £5.2 billion ($6.6 billion) tops the list.
Real Madrid has been in and around the number one and two positions when it comes to club valuation as they always pose assets that put them at the epic of this cut.
Manchester United unsurprisingly is the second most valuable club despite their failure in years in terms of football results, as they follow Real Madrid closely with a cub valuation of £6.15 billion ($6.55 billion) net worth.
United have faced several setbacks recently in terms of the club’s success in results and trophy winnings, but their business scorecard always puts them in front of other English clubs.
Barcelona comes third in the list of most valuable clubs with a total revenue of £4.4 billion ($5.6 billion) as premier league new champions Manchester City makes the top 5.
