A heartbreaking incident unfolded today in Ijebu-Ode as a newborn baby was discovered abandoned near a refuse ground.The baby, a girl, was found this evening by a good Samaritan who was passing by the area.
The good Samaritan, who wishes to remain anonymous, immediately alerted local authorities after discovering the infant. The baby was reportedly found wrapped in a thin cloth, left alone and vulnerable amidst the refuse.
