Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli has agreed a deal in principle for the signing of Nigerian Forward Victor Osimhen from Italian side Napoli.
The deal is believed to be worth €80 million total package including add-ons for the forward.
A four-year deal has been presented to Osimhen’s camp as Al Ahli awaits his decision.
The Saudi club has also agreed a deal for Brentford and England forward Ivan Toney but their priority remains to get victor Osimhen deal done before the close of European transfer window later today.
As requested by Osimhen’s camp, a release clause has included the deal and it is believed to be lower than a €100 million as earlier reported.
The 25-year old African footballer of the year has always asked to stay in Europe but it is likely that no European club is willing to meet his financial request.
Chelsea have been in constant negotiations over the past few days but Osimhen remains firm on his word of no loan deal and his salary demand exceeds Chelsea’s reported €150k weekly wages.
The Saudi club has already booked a medical for Osimhen In case he accepts the deal as he will earn a whopping €25/30 million per season should he move to Saudi Arabia.
