Manchester United new Boss Rubén Amorim has kicked against complacency in his team as Rashford and Gernacho became the first culprits in the Manchester derby.
Amorim technically dropped Argentine star Alejandro Gernacho and England forward Marcus Rashford in the derby day squad and put indiscipline as the reason.
But the United boss believes they can get back into the team if they will work hard.
“Finish one game, start a new week. New week is new life, if they train well, they will compete for a place in the team.
“They are playing because they are talented, we need Rashford and Garnacho in our team”. Amorim added.
“Next week they can be back, if they train well like the others. It’s the same for everyone.
They will play or be on the bench. It was not a disciplinary thing, We have to improve our standards inside and outside the pitch”.
“It’s not a disciplinary thing, it’s just the performances in training, the performance in games and then I’ve to choose players. It’s as simple as that”. He added.
United defeated Manchester City 2-1 thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes who scored the spot to cancel our Gvardiol opener before Amad Diallo scored the winner for the away side side.
