The Association of Primary School Head-teachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON), Oyo State Chapter, has affirmed the credibility of the recently conducted Computer-Based Test (CBT) for applicants seeking teaching jobs in the state.
Mr. Adekunle Adedeji, State Chairman of AOPSHON, made this statement in Ibadan on Friday, highlighting the smooth and incident-free nature of the examination.
“The association monitored the CBT at the Distance Learning Centre, Ajibode, Ibadan, and we can attest to its seamless execution.
We commend the management of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) for their successful organization of the examination, a crucial step in recruiting qualified primary school teachers,” stated the chairman.
He also expressed appreciation to the Oyo State Government for organizing workshops aimed at preparing retiring head-teachers for life after service.
OYO SUBEB conducted the CBT from July 22 to July 26, involving 50,097 applicants for teaching positions. The results have been released, and successful candidates are awaiting invitations for oral interviews.
