Joe Igbokwe, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Lagos State, has confidently asserted that President Bola Tinubu is fated to hold office until 2031.
In a Facebook post, Igbokwe proclaimed that the president, who ascended to the presidency in 2023 after defeating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi from the Labour Party (LP), is poised to serve two full terms.
With Tinubu’s initial term concluding in 2027, Igbokwe emphasized that if the president seeks re-election, his second term will carry through to 2031.
He went on to caution any prospective presidential candidates eyeing the 2027 elections to rethink their aspirations.
“If anyone is harboring dreams of winning the presidential election in 2027, I suggest they abandon that notion until 2031,” Igbokwe advised. “PBAT (President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) is destined to remain in power until 2031. He requires eight years to establish a lasting legacy.”
