During a policy roundtable event titled “The Asiwaju Scorecard Series” in Abuja, Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), revealed the party’s ambitions to secure victories in additional states by 2027.
Ganduje emphasized the party’s ongoing efforts to transform the APC into a grassroots progressive force. He highlighted that the National Working Committee (NWC) has instructed state chapters to collaborate with governors and stakeholders to establish fully functional offices in every political ward and state.
This move aims to provide symbolic representation to party members across the country in their local communities.
Furthermore, the NWC has formed a reconciliation committee to address any grievances within the party.
These committees will be established at the state, local government, and ward levels, fostering unity and harmony among party members.
Ganduje confidently stated, “Even though it is not yet an election period, we are reinvigorating the party to ensure that come 2027, we will retain and secure new state governors, as well as support our President in obtaining another mandate to continue implementing his government’s policies and programs.”
