The Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the United Kingdom, Hajia Sekinat Adams, alongside her deputy, Hon. Tunmise Ajiboye, has called on Nigerian youths to put a stop to the current protests and instead engage in meaningful discussions with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
In a statement, the leaders highlighted President Tinubu’s commitment to an open-door policy that fosters direct communication and collaboration with all stakeholders, especially the youth.
While acknowledging the legitimate concerns and fervor driving the youth’s call for change and improved governance, they stressed that constructive engagement and peaceful dialogue with the government are the most effective and sustainable means of addressing these pressing issues.
“President Tinubu has consistently demonstrated his commitment to listening to the people and addressing their concerns,” stated Hajia Sekinat Adams. “We urge our fellow youths to seize this opportunity to engage in dialogue with the government, ensuring their voices contribute to unity and progress.”
She further emphasized, “The future of Nigeria rests on its youth. By opting for dialogue instead of protests, we can collaborate with President Tinubu’s administration to forge lasting solutions and illuminate a brighter path for our nation.”
The APC UK Youth Leaders encouraged all Nigerian youths to heed the call for dialogue, asserting that through open communication and cooperation, the nation can surmount its challenges and attain peace and prosperity.
They also urged youth leaders and representatives to actively partake in the dialogue process to ensure that the concerns of the youth are effectively and constructively addressed.
