American pop star Ariana Grande has thrown her support behind Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s candidate for the upcoming presidential election. This endorsement follows President Joe Biden’s announcement on Sunday that he would not seek re-election and his subsequent endorsement of Harris as the party’s nominee.
Grande shared a photo of President Biden and Vice President Harris on her Instagram story, urging her followers to register to vote for the Democratic Party. She captioned the photo simply, “Register to vote.”
According to The Hill, Kamala Harris has already secured over a quarter of the delegates needed to clinch the Democratic Presidential nomination.
Her candidacy has quickly gained momentum following Biden’s withdrawal from the race.
