In response to a planned nationwide protest, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim, the Secretary to the State Government of Bauchi State, addressed the media at the Government House and firmly rejected the idea of protests occurring within the state.

Kashim made it clear that the government does not support, acknowledge, or anticipate any protests taking place in Bauchi State. He stressed that the state is known for its peaceful and calm environment, and the government is committed to preserving this peaceful atmosphere.

Kashim issued a stern warning to those who might be contemplating protests, advising them to hold their demonstrations in other locations rather than in Bauchi State. He emphasized that the state would not tolerate any disruption to its tranquility.

In addition, Kashim addressed recent media reports claiming that primary healthcare centers in the state were being shut down. He refuted these allegations, clarifying that the supposed closure of these centers was neither approved nor known by the government.

He assured the public that all primary healthcare centers and public institutions in Bauchi State would remain open as usual, and any misinformation about their closure should be ignored.

The Secretary to the State Government also assured residents that the security forces and other agencies are on high alert and will not allow any protests within Bauchi State. He encouraged everyone to go about their daily routines without any m concern for disruptions.
