The organizers of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show have announced a reduction in the prize money for the upcoming Season 9, set to air in 2024.
The announcement was made on the show’s official X handle on Wednesday.
For the 2024 season, the winner will receive a grand prize of N100 million and a brand new SUV, down from the previous prize of N120 million.
This change comes ahead of the Season 9 premiere, which is set to begin on Sunday, July 28, 2024, and will run for 71 days.
In a twist to the game format, contestants will compete in pairs, introducing new dynamics to the challenges.
