Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Handi, has revealed that her twin sister and show partner, Wanni, once had a crush on popular Nigerian singer Davido. Still, she strongly opposed the idea of Wanni getting involved with him.
During a conversation with fellow housemate Shaun on Wednesday, Wanni brought up her past “situation” with the singer, choosing not to mention his name directly. Instead, she alluded to him by referencing a famous line from his hit song, ‘Champion Sound.’
Wanni said, “Let’s not call names but I told him [Shaun] about the situation with [sings the line from ‘Champion Sound’] ‘Take me away’. And he said he would have been disappointed if I did something with him.”
Handi then confirmed her stance on the matter, adding, “hmmm me too o!”

Shaun responded, “I don’t think it differently.”
Handi went on to explain the reasoning behind her disapproval, saying, “We fought seriously on our tour. It’s a different thing if you were in a relationship but for what? Because you have a crush on the person you just want to jump in. And the guy is bipolar as f*ck. I told her he won’t respect her.”
This candid revelation sheds light on the dynamics between the twins and Wanni’s brief, yet intense, admiration for the superstar.
