In a surprising turn of events, Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate Toyosi has hinted at a potential separation from her long-time friend Damilola following their eviction from the reality show on Sunday.
Thepaan reports that Team Tami, consisting of Toyosi and Damilola, was the first pair to be evicted after spending just a week in the house. The duo, who have been friends for seven years, faced a challenging moment during their post-eviction interview with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
When asked by Ebuka if they planned to continue living together, Damilola quickly responded, “Yeah.” However, Toyosi’s reply took a different direction, indicating underlying tensions. “I love you so much, but I feel like there has been a lot of tension. She has been blaming herself too much, and I want her to think without me being there,” Toyosi explained.
Damilola, seemingly taken aback, questioned, “Would that be why?” Toyosi confirmed, “Yes, you are blaming yourself too much. When you see me, you keep blaming yourself, and I, on the other hand, would like to think too. I don’t think I would be able to be in the same space with someone who is blaming herself; it makes me very sad.”
Ebuka then turned to Damilola for her thoughts on Toyosi’s decision, to which she replied, “I’m too stunned to speak.”

Sensing the tension between the pair, Ebuka encouraged them to embrace dialogue and express their feelings. “Final note, what’s next? Maybe you guys have not had this conversation yet. There’s a lot of emotions bottled up. You haven’t expressed how you feel, so hearing that now, I think what needs to happen is both of you sitting down,” he advised.
As emotions ran high, Toyosi began shedding tears, followed by Damilola, both overwhelmed by the situation. Ebuka concluded with a heartfelt message, “If you’ve been friends for seven years, I think you should know how to communicate with each other. Sit down and say how you feel. I don’t think a week in Big Brother’s house should damage a friendship. You’re obviously hurt for different reasons.”
The unexpected emotional revelation has left fans wondering about the future of Toyosi and Damilola’s friendship, hoping they can resolve their issues and maintain their bond.
