Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is set to visit Nigeria as part of the foundation’s continued efforts to support Africa’s development.

During his visit, Gates will engage with national and local leaders, partners, grantees, and innovators, underscoring the foundation’s dedication to addressing the continent’s most pressing challenges.

As part of his visit, Gates will meet with experts in primary health care, agriculture, and nutrition who are leading initiatives to drive progress across Africa, despite ongoing economic challenges.

Additionally, Gates will participate in a pan-African virtual dialogue on Tuesday, September 3rd, focused on tackling malnutrition through integrated health, agriculture, and financing solutions. He will be joined in this dialogue by musician, educator, and humanitarian Jon Batiste.
