Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, professionally known as Bobrisky, has broken her silence following his release from prison.

Bobrisky, often referred to as the “Mummy of Lagos,” has been a hot topic online after regaining his freedom following a six-month imprisonment for naira abuse.

On April 12, 2024, Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Bobrisky to six months in jail without the option of a fine, despite his guilty plea.

The charges stemmed from an incident on April 4, when Bobrisky was arrested for naira abuse at the movie premiere of Eniola Ajao, where he received the award for best-dressed female. The event sparked a significant controversy among celebrities.

In videos circulating online, Bobrisky appears overjoyed upon his release. He was seen celebrating with actress Eniola Ajao, Moyo Lawal, and other female friends.

Bobrisky expressed that he missed his fans greatly and promised to deliver continuous content now that he is back, sharing his utmost joy.

Exiting the prison with a convoy, Bobrisky was captured dancing to the hit song “Tshwala Bam” Remix featuring Burna Boy.
