Manchester United is actively considering 26-year-old Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo as a potential addition to their central defensive lineup. Recent speculation suggests that several clubs, including Newcastle United and AC Milan, have also shown interest in securing the services of Adarabioyo.
Manchester United is currently in need of reinforcements in the central defensive position, particularly with the confirmation that Raphael Varane will be departing as a free agent this summer. Injuries and limited options have plagued the team’s defensive line throughout the season, making it a problem area.
Lisandro Martinez and Varane, who formed the preferred center-back pairing under Ten Hag last season, have been absent for a significant portion of the campaign. On the other hand, Harry Maguire, who was available for transfer during the summer, has established himself as a key figure in the center-back position under Ten Hag this season.
