Brighton and Holve Albion condemned Premier League champions Manchester City to their fourth successive defeat in a row.

Brighton showed character and resilience to take all three points from the Citizens despite falling behind through Erling Halaand’s early goal.

Manchester City took a well-deserved advantage in the 23rd minute after the Norwegian striker had given them the lead.

Brighton left it late to equalise and take the lead which eventually handed them all three points against City.

The loss to Brighton means that Manchester City under Pep Guardiola has, for the first time lost four games in a row.
