Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has sent a welcome message to new coach Rubén Amorim who has resumed office as Manchester United coach today.

Amorim agreed to a three-year deal late last month to United owners to replace Erik Ten Hag who was fired for the poor run of results.

The Portuguese tactician who left Sporting Lisbon to join United after eleven rounds of the Portuguese Primera division has been able to produce a stunning record, winning all eleven games and leaving them as league leaders.

After their win against Leicester City at Old Trafford under interim boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Bruno was quick on Monday to welcome the new coach.

“It’s a new era. A new manager means everything changes but what hasn’t changed is that this club has to get back to where it belongs”. Bruno said.

Fernandes scored one and assisted one while also being the mastermind of the own goal to gift United a 3-0 win against the Foxes to earn Nistelrooy’s short reign at the club a soft landing.

Interim coach Ruud Van Nistelrooy appears to be loved by almost all his players and his future at the club remains uncertain.

As earlier reported, it all depends on the new coach, Amorim if he will need his services as one of his assistant coaches, otherwise, the Dutchman will find his way out of Old Trafford.
