Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has urged controversial pastor Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, also known as Odumeje, to use his powers to save Nigeria from its current crisis.
Expressing his concerns on social media, Charly Boy highlighted the deteriorating state of Nigeria’s economy and the widespread hunger affecting the nation. He emphasized the urgent need for intervention.
On his X handle, Charly Boy posted: “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please can you stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, the economy is plummeting.
“We ask for your power in this desperate time of need.

This plea comes as President Bola Tinubu announced measures to address food insecurity in the country. According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, the Federal Government will implement a 150-Day Duty-Free Import Window for food commodities.
During this period, taxes and import duties on Wheat, Maize, Husked Brown Rice, and Cowpeas will be relaxed to alleviate the crisis.
