Chelsea football club dragged league one side Wrexham to a 2-2 draw in their Pre-Season friendly in the United States.

Played in Levi’s stadium in California, Chelsea needed a late equalizer to avoid defeat in the hands of Wrexham who are competing in the third tier of English Football.

Chelsea New boss Enzo Maresca fielded a strong side with just two youth players in the side but struggled to defeat Wrexham.

First choice goalkeeper Sanchez was in goal, shielded by three centre-backs, Lewis Colwill, Badiashile and new signing Toby Adarabioyo.

In Midfield, Maresca included a teenager George at wingback in front of Colwill, who partnered £58 million signing Lavia, with Chukwuemeka as well as club captain, Reece James to complete a four-man midfield.

In attack, £30 million signing, Madueke alongside Christopher Nkunku who joined from RB Leipzig in a £52 million deal was also in the starting Lineup as youngster Guiu was the point man.

Nkunku opened the scoring in the 37th minute but was cancelled out in the 59th minute by Bolton as Marriot gave Wrexham the lead thirteen minutes later.

Substitute Ugochukwu equalised in the 82nd minutes to hand Chelsea a draw as they are preparing for the Premier League season as well as their UEFA conference league campaign.
