London side Chelsea Football Club has gotten the green light from the Premier League for the sale of two of their hotels.
Premier League have concluded their ‘fair market value’ investigation of Chelsea’s sale of two hotels to a sister company to keep them compliant with the profit and sustainability rules (PSR), reports ESPN today.
New owner Todd Boehly has spent around £220 million in New additions to the club in the just concluded summer transfer window.
Since June 2022, Chelsea has spent more than €1.32 billion on signings after Todd Boehly and co assumed office.
The financial fair play makes provision for clubs to spend less than what they earn to allow clubs manage their funds and avoid owing players.
The two hotels will be sold to help raise funds to help stabilize the club in funds to avoid the wrath of the FFP.
