Famous American singer Chris Brown has expressed his eternal gratitude to Nigerian superstar Wizkid for a remarkable gesture that left a lasting impact on his life and career.

In a post shared by LuthorTV, Brown referred to Wizkid as his “brother for life,” acknowledging the Nigerian artist’s significant role in bringing him to perform on one of the UK’s biggest stages.

Reflecting on his experience, Brown explained that despite performing across the United States for years, he hadn’t had the opportunity to perform in the UK until Wizkid invited him to his sold-out O2 Arena concert in 2021.

“Wizkid invited me to my biggest stage in the UK in 10 years. I had been performing all around America and had not gone there for any show before. One day, Wiz called and told me he was getting everything set for me to come to his O2 Arena concert. He paid for everything, and I was wowed. Wizkid is my brother for life,” Brown shared.

The invitation was particularly meaningful for Brown, who had been banned from the UK in 2009 following his guilty plea in the assault case involving his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The UK government had cited his conviction as the reason for the ban, affecting his ability to perform in the country for years.

Wizkid’s gesture marked a significant moment in Brown’s career, cementing their bond and earning him an unforgettable place in the American singer’s heart.
