In a tragic incident that has left the Apo community in mourning, a fatal accident occurred in the afternoon of June 8, 2024, resulting in the deaths of a pregnant woman and her husband. The accident took place at around 2:45 PM.
Eyewitnesses report that the couple, identified as Mr. and Mrs. Oni were going for a friend’s wedding party when a speeding truck lost control and collided with their vehicle.
The impact of the collision was so severe that it instantly killed Mrs. Oni, who was eight months pregnant, and her husband.
Authorities and emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene. Despite their quick efforts, both victims were declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
