Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has cleared the air on his intention to be exemoted from the Belgian National team until the current leaves the team.
Domenico Tedesco took charge of the red devils last year and led the team to his first major tournament in France.
Belgium was eliminated from the Euros in the round of 16 thanks to s 1-0 victory to France.
Courtois said in an exclusive interview his intention to leave the National team until 38-year old Tedesco leaves as the head coach.
“I have decided not to return to the Belgian national team under this manager”, says Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois.
“In this matter, I accept my share of responsibility”.
“However, looking forward, my lack of confidence in him would not contribute to maintaining the necessary atmosphere”, Courtois has officially announced.
