Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reportedly caused the arrest of an X user who wished death upon her son. The arrest comes amidst heightened online criticism of Toyin for her support of President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
In a heated exchange on X, user @Yarlo wrote, “Your son go kpai soon.” Toyin responded by promising to make an example of him, to which @Yarlo defiantly replied, “Use me as the first scapegoat.”
In a recent update, another X user, @Reedah, claiming to be close to @Yarlo, stated that he was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham.

Reaching out for assistance, @Reedah wrote, “Hello I’m Reedah and Yarlo is my friend. Heard from his mother that he was arrested 4 days ago. I heard that the police came from Lagos to arrest him for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham. Pls any help you can render will deeply appreciate you.”
Attempts by journalists to contact Lagos State Police Command spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin for comments on the arrest were unsuccessful.
