Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for the presidency, has expressed his concerns regarding what he claims is a conspiracy orchestrated against him by certain television hosts and guests.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Bwala did not specify any names or provide further details about those he believes are involved in this alleged plot.
Recently appointed as the Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications for the State House on November 14, Bwala called for faith and prayer in light of what he described as an “overwhelming conspiracy.” He stated, “When faced with an overwhelming conspiracy from some television guests and anchors pushing a specific agenda, and you feel powerless, just pray to your God. He will reveal their true nature. It has begun.”
His appointment has stirred varied responses in political circles, particularly due to his prior position as the Official Spokesperson for the 2023 PDP Presidential Campaign. This transition to a significant role within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised eyebrows and sparked discussions.
Following his new appointment, Bwala initially claimed he had taken over from Ajuri Ngelale as President Bola Tinubu’s official spokesperson while addressing State House correspondents in Abuja.
However, a subsequent statement from the presidency clarified that his official designation was actually “Special Adviser Policy Communication.”
