Afrobeat star Davido has responded to the news of his father, Adedeji Adeleke’s, generous N1 billion donation to the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church’s Centenary Endowment Fund. The donation, made in honor of his late mother, Esther Adeleke, took place during a remembrance service at the church’s headquarters in Lagos.

The donation, which has captured public attention, was highlighted in a viral video shared on social media. Commenting on the video in Tunde Ednut’s comment section, Davido expressed his admiration for his father’s charitable nature, particularly toward religious and educational causes.

He remarked, “Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.”

The singer also took to his Instagram story to express his deep respect and admiration for his father, writing, “My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here.”
