Super Eagles interim coach Augustine Eguavoen has denied rumours that he has invited Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo to the Super Eagles camp.

Eguavoen said in an interview with Nigerian-based online newspaper Premium Times that he has never spoken to Tosin to represent the Green White Green of the Super Eagles.

“I didn’t speak with Tosin, but he’s a good player,” Eguavoen told Premium Times.

“He’s one of the players we’re monitoring.” He added.

Despite his denial of inviting the former Fulham man, Eguavoen remains adamant that every good footballer who plays as a professional around the world deserves a place in the eagles squad.

“Every Nigerian playing worldwide has the right to play for Nigeria, including Tosin.”

Meanwhile, contrary reports have it that the player hasn’t even decided on his international allegiance.

Nigeria will be involved in a double header African Cup of Nations qualifiers next month and the 27-year old Tosin is yet to decide on his future as he keeps waiting for an England call up.
