Portugal international João Felix has agreed a deal in principle for his transfer to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid.
The deal is believed to have cost the blues around a little in excess of £46 million as the forward has agreed a six-year deal with an option for a further one year.
Felix will return to Chelsea just a season after head coach Pochetino decided against making his loan deal a permanent.
He went to Barcelona and has now returned to Chelsea in a permanent deal.
His club Atletico Madrid are playing against Villarreal tonight and Felix was a member of the traveling squad but was excluded from either the starting Lineup or the bench as his transfer became closer.
Chelsea Midfielder Conor Gallagher could also travel to Madrid on Tuesday as his deal was already agreed a couple of weeks ago.
Chelsea were on the verge of signing Samu Omorodion for Gallagher to be able to make the move as he was already in Spain but the deal will now happen.
Gallagher will join ATM in a fee in excess of £30 million as agreed some weeks ago and medicals done.
Felix will return to the bridge as his return to Stamford Bridge sparks a debate on his performance.
