Kalu Aja, a financial analyst, has criticized Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for President Bola Tinubu, for his remarks concerning the anticipated nationwide protests. In a post on his social media platform, Aja likened Onanuga’s tweeting style to that of a youthful TikTok influencer, suggesting a lack of seriousness in his communication.

Aja expressed his disapproval, stating, “Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for Nigeria’s President, tweets with the flair of a 19-year-old TikTok influencer.” This comment followed Onanuga’s allegations that supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s former presidential candidate, were plotting chaos across the nation.

Onanuga further characterized Obi as a failed candidate, asserting that he should bear responsibility for any disturbances arising from the planned protests.

He also claimed that the individuals behind these protests were the same ones influenced by the imprisoned IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, during the destructive ENDSARS protests that occurred in October 2020.
