Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML has revealed exciting news for his fans, announcing that he is currently collaborating on a joint extended play (EP) with fellow artist Lojay. The “Peru” hitmaker shared this update during an interview in Lagos.

Fireboy expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I’m working on a joint EP with Lojay. We have a very great relationship in the studio.” This partnership promises to deliver fresh sounds, given both artists’ strong presence in the Afrobeats scene.

In addition to his collaboration with Lojay, Fireboy also reflected on his recent work with the legendary Lagbaja on the track “Back N Forth” from his newly released fourth studio album, Adedomala.

He praised the veteran musician’s dedication and professionalism, saying, “Lagbaja is the most meticulous artiste I ever worked with. I wished he had removed his mask but wore it all through our time in the studio. I learned a lot from him during the session.”
