Former France National team captain Karim Benzema has claimed that Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr is better than his France compatriot Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe moved to Real Madrid early this summer and faced a stiff competition in his most preferred left wing position.

The former Paris Saint-Germain man has hence been drafted into the centre-forward position while Vinicius Jr remains in his left wing role.

Former Real Madrid and France Captain Karim Benzema reacted to his move from French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid by claiming that Kylian has to adjust and understand that he is now a centre-forward and no more a winger.

“The problem for Mbappé is that on the left there’s the BEST IN THE WORLD and it’s VINICIUS JR”. Benzema was quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 36-year old former Real Madrid man scored 238 goals in 439 matches for Real before leaving to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.
