According to petroleum marketers, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has significantly alleviated the nation’ s fuel scarcity by opening its reserves around the nation.
Billy Hilly- Harry, the president of the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria, and Hammed Fashola, the national president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, both made mention of this positive development in separate remarks following their meeting with NNPCL on Saturday.
Fashola expressed confidence and stated that his members are prepared to collaborate with NNPCL to effectively handle the fuel shortage crisis. He assured Nigerians that gasoline is available everywhere, stressed the importance of cooperation among all parties involved, and cautioned them against engaging in panic buying.
