London Side Fulham Football club has agreed to a deal in principle for the transfer of Arsenal Midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe.
Fulham has been a long term admirer for the Arsenal Star who has been a subject of interest of several clubs both home and abroad.
As reported by football journalist David Ornstein,Fulham has agreed a £27 million fee plus a £7million in adds-on for the attacking midfielder.
According to Ornstein, “Fulham agrees deal with Arsenal for Emile Smith-Rowe, it’s done.
“Package worth £27m plus £7m add-ons accepted by Arsenal today, personal terms have also been agreed.”
“Smith-Rowe leaves Arsenal and he’s ready to travel, medical and contract signing in pre-season camp.” He added.
The 24-year old made his Arsenal debut back on October 3, 2013 in Arsenal 5-0 home win over Sheffield United and has gone on to make 80 appearances for the Gunners.
He was on loan to German side RB Leipzig in 2019 before being sent out on a similar loan again to Huddersfield in 2020.
Smith-Rowe was limited to very few minutes last season especially after suffering a long-term injury coupled with the fact that someone he is to deputize unluckily for him is Arsenal captain Martin Ordegaard.
The England man who has featured once for the Three Lions will start his new chapter with Arsenal’s London Rivals Fulham next.
