Atletico Madrid New signing Conor Gallagher might leave Chelsea football club, but the fans remain dear to the Midfielder as he dropped a warm message to them amidst his departure.

“To everyone at Chelsea, thank you for making my dreams come true.

“It’s been an absolute honour every time I put on the shirt, and it was a dream come true to captain the team on many occasions”.

“I loved every moment. These memories will last forever. I appreciate all the love and support from the fans.

“Hearing the chant of my name at the Bridge is a special feeling, and the banner you displayed [against Spurs] meant the world to me”.

“Thank you for everything. I wish the club all the best for the future, and I hope to see you all soon at Stamford Bridge”. Gallagher wrote.

Chelsea’s new boss Enzo Maresca axed the 24-year old England Midfielder after he claimed the England international does not suit his style of play.

Gallagher who served as one of the vice captains for Reece James was then offered to Atletico Madrid who in turn sent João Felix to Stamford Bridge but in different deals scored five goals while providing seven assists in his last season as a Chelsea player while making 37 league appearances for the Mauricio Pochetino’s side.

He has opened a new chapter of his career as he eagerly awaits his debut for the Spanish capital club.
