The Black Stars of Ghana may continue their AFCON qualifier home games at the prestigious Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
The Godswill Akpabio stadium is the current home ground for the Super Eagles, and Ghana according to reports is considering the arena based on its proximity.
Recall, CAF rejected the Baba Yara Stadium due to its uneven surface, uneven grass coverage, facilities etc.
Meanwhile, other stadiums under consideration by the Ghana FA are Côte d’Ivoire’s Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Stade de la Paix, Cameroon’s Japoma Stadium in Douala, and the Berkane Municipal Stadium in Morocco.
