As the Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Udeme Otong marks his 61st birthday today, Governor Umo Eno, PhD, has sent his birthday felicitations.
In a message released by his Chief Please Secretary , Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno celebrated the Speaker for “his humility, robust collaborations and acute interest in working with the Executive Arm of government to translate the vision of the Arise Agenda.”
“Since God propelled us to the positions of service to our people, you have shown an incredible spirit of unity of purpose and of selflessness in working with us to expand development in our dear State.
“I salute this spirit of cooperation which you and indeed the members of the 8th Assembly exemplify.
“As you mark your birthday today, I ask God to continue to nourish you with great health, sound judgment and more blessings.
“Happy birthday once again, Mr. Speaker!”
