Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has taken to social media to celebrate becoming the highest-grossing actor in Nollywood, saying, ‘Grace of God brought me here’
On May 22nd, 2024, Intel Region released its list of the top 10 grossing Nollywood actors of 2023. Leading the list is Timini Egbuson, who achieved an impressive N1.009 billion in box office earnings. Following closely is Jide Kene, with a remarkable N799 million in revenue.
In 2023, Egbuson appeared in nine Nollywood films: “A Tribe Called Judah,” “The Kujus Again,” “Big Love,” “Honey Money,” “Something Like Gold,” “Unforgivable,” “The Bloom Boys,” “The Modern Woman,” and “Maniac.”
Egbuson’s success in 2023, earning N1 billion, solidifies his position as the highest-paid actor in Nollywood.

Reacting to this achievement, Timini Egbuson expressed his gratitude to God for His grace, thanked his fans for their support, and acknowledged his own hard work.
Hailing himself further, Timini Egbuson referred to himself as the most bankable actor in Africa, a title he believes makes him highly sought after by producers.
