Gunmen have killed a man identified as Garba Yakubu and abducted two others in the Gadabuke community of Toto Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, during a conversation with ThePaan News.
According to Nansel, the gunmen stormed the residence of Agaba Yakubu early Monday morning, where they shot Garba Yakubu and kidnapped two other individuals.
“On August 25, 2024, at about 2:00 am, the Divisional Police Officer of Toto Division received a distress call reporting that unknown gunmen had invaded the residence of Agaba Yakubu in Gadabuke. During the attack, Garba Yakubu was fatally shot, and two others were abducted,” Nansel explained.
The police command quickly mobilized to the scene, where they recovered Garba Yakubu’s body.
