Former Manchester United chapter Harry has shown his regrets after missing out on the England final 26-man squad that will be travelling to the Euros.
Coach Gareth Southgate on Thursday named the squad that will be representing the Three Lions in the European championship and Maguire is absent from the list.
Maguire took to his official Facebook account to register his displeasure in the omission though wishing the team well.
“I am devastated not to have been selected to play for England at the Euros this summer.
“Despite my best efforts, I have not been able to overcome an injury to my calf. Maybe I pushed myself too hard, to try and make it. Simply, I am absolutely gutted”, He added.
He then showed his support for his team and wished them well as he vowed to give them the maximum support when the tournament began.
“For me, representing England is the highest honour. It means everything to me. If I can’t help the team as a player, I will support them as a fan – along with the rest of the country. Go and win it boys.
“Next, I will return to the supervision of the Manchester United medical team in order to prepare for next season.” He wrote.
Meanwhile, Tottenham star James Maddison, Manchester City’s Jack Grealish, Manchester United pair, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho who did not even make the initial list are other major omissions.
Meanwhile , goalkeepers include Pickford, Ramsdale, Henderson.
Defenders are Walker, Stones, Shaw, Tripper, Guehi, Gomes, Dunk and Konsa.
Midfielders are Alexander-Arnold, Gallagher, Mainoo, Rice, Wharton and Bellingham.
Amongst attackers are Kane, Palmer, Saka, Foden, Bowen, Eze, Gordon, Watkins and Ivan Toney.
