Dutch international Steven Bergwijn has fired back to o his Dutch National team coach Ronald Koeman after he condemned Bergwijn’s transfer to Saudi Arabia.

Koeman was not happy with Bergwijn’s move to Saudi as he reacted angrily after saying, “Steven goes to Saudi Arabia at age 26… it’s clear that this has nothing to do with sportive ambition.

“His book with the Dutch National Team is now officially closed”.

“He could have just stayed at Ajax, as Ajax are paying good too. At his age, I’d not make that decision at all”.

The former Ajax man was not happy with the comment of his international boss and needed to react to it.

“I don’t even want to play for Koeman anymore. I won’t play for someone who portray me like he has done in the media. So… it’s over”, told Telegraaf.

“He could have called me, hear my side of the story… How can he say such things without talking to me?”.
