Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has expressed his satisfaction in his team’s performance in their last Pre-Season game of the United States tour.

United fell to a 3-0 thumping by Liverpool but Manager Ten Hag disregarded the result while praising his team especially when they attacked.

The Dutch missed several key players in the game as they were on extended break after featuring for their respective countries in the Copa America and the European championship.

The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Diego Dalot, Luke Shaw and new signing Joshua Zirkzee were missing due to their involvement in the just concluded Euros.

Lisandro Martinez and Alejandro Gernacho who won the Copa America with Argentina were also out as Leny Yoro remains on the sidelines as he nurses his injury.

The likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka who is a step away from security a deal at West Ham started as well as 36-year old Jonny Evans as youngsters were given opportunities to express themselves.

Despite the 3-0 result, Ten Hag Believe his team did well as they prepared their return for the community Shield fixture against premier league champions Manchester City.

Despite limping off in their last game, Marcus Rashford was bright and hearty as he ran down the wing, forcing the goalkeeper to make some saves as well as always putting the defenders on check whenever he received the ball.

Jadon Sancho and Amad Diallo were the other front men as the coach believed the team is ready for the season as they return to face the reality.
