Jude Bellingham, the talented midfielder from Real Madrid, has been honored as LaLiga’s Player of the Season following his instrumental role in securing the club’s 36th league title.
Unfortunately, Bellingham was unable to attend the award ceremony due to his preparations for the upcoming Champions League final. Nonetheless, he expressed his gratitude and dedicated the accolade to his teammates and the loyal fans of the club.
“I would like to dedicate it to my teammates, the coaching staff, and, most importantly, to the fans of the best club in the world. It’s a pleasure every time I play for this team. Hala Madrid!” Bellingham conveyed in a message.
Having previously been recognized as the Bundesliga Player of the Season for the 2022-23 campaign, the young English international made a high-profile transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid for a staggering €103 million.
Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund’s sporting director, commended Bellingham’s exceptional talent and character, expressing confidence in his ability to shine in the upcoming final.
“I am fully aware of Jude’s immense strength and his outstanding personality. He is an exceptional player, possessing remarkable character, and I have no doubt that he will do everything in his power to secure a victory in that final,” Kehl remarked.
