Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun has officially taken office as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Her swearing-in ceremony was conducted by President Bola Tinubu at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday.
This appointment comes after the Senate confirmed Kekere-Ekun as the CJN last week, following her screening in the upper legislative chamber.
President Tinubu appointed her as the acting CJN after the retirement of her predecessor, Justice Olukoyede Ariwoola.
