Chairman of the commission, Muhuyi Rimin-Gado, disclosed to the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday that the investigation is ongoing, aiming to identify and prosecute those involved in the fraudulent activities.

The scam has already impacted thousands of job seekers, who were deceived into purchasing fake employment forms. Preliminary investigations have revealed fraudulent operations within the Office of the Head of Service, the Civil Service Commission, the Kano State Secondary Schools Board, and the Health Service Management Board.

Rimin-Gado reported that the two suspects currently in custody are cooperating with authorities, which has led to the shutdown of a fraudulent employment portal. The commission is determined to eliminate corruption and deliver justice to the victims of this scam.

“Our investigation is focused on exposing those behind the sale of fake employment forms and ensuring they face the full extent of the law,” said Rimin-Gado. “The commission is committed to fighting corruption and ensuring justice.”

The state government has tasked the commission to thoroughly investigate the fraud and prosecuting those responsible. This effort highlights the government’s dedication to combating corruption and protecting its citizens from deceitful practices in employment.
