Korra Obidi has successfully garnered almost $50,000 in donations within 48 hours of launching her GoFundMe campaign to cover legal expenses for her ongoing court case against her ex-husband, Justin Dean.
Recently, Justin Dean obtained image rights protection from Meta, which led to the removal of Korra’s videos featuring their children on Facebook and the demonetization of her page.
In response to these developments, Korra appealed for financial support through a video, highlighting her need to challenge the decision in court. Justin also released a video acknowledging his involvement in contacting Facebook and expressing his intent to keep their children off the platform.
Korra’s efforts to raise funds for legal representation have been fruitful, with her GoFundMe campaign surpassing $49,000 towards her $100,000 goal in a short span of time.
The amount keeps increasing each time the GoFundMe page is refreshed.
So far, over 1.1k people have made donations. The highest donor gave $1,000.
